Highline Supports Irish Aviation Golf Challenge

Highline Office Technology Supported The 2022 Event To Raise Funds For St. Vincent De Paul

A record 152 golfers showed their support for the Irish Aviation Golf Challenge that took place last Friday the 5th of August, raising funds for St. Vincent De Paul in Birr.

Highline is proud to have supported the event and to support SVP. Overall, the event raised €23,000 this year, which brings the total amount raised up to this date to over €308,000, which will be invested in education in the region.

The aviation community in Ireland showed their support by sponsoring the 18 holes of the course and by entering teams.

Dublin Aerospace, Emerald Airlines, and CAE Parc Aviation were all featured among the prize winners. The 2022 winners were the Bethany House Aviators, led by Dave Corboy, well known for his Birr Airshow organisational skills.

Marion Carter, Birr Vincent DePaul with Limerick Artist Jim O’Farrell with his painting of the Birr Golf Clubhouse commissioned by the Irish Aviation Golf Challenge organisers.

Marion Carter, a volunteer from Birr, St. Vincent De Paul, was at the event and expressed how important the event is as a fundraising effort. Marion also mentioned how this year, ‘people who previously had donated to the organisation were now often requiring its help.’
